Release the Old – Embrace the New 2010

Today is the final day for 2009, and so many of us are ready for the year to be over!  It has been a year of trial and challenge for so many.  Have you been able to make it through the fire and rise above the negativity?  This New Year’s Eve is a perfect time to reflect on this last year, the good, bad and ugly of what has happened not only in your life but in the world around you.  Take stock of what has worked and what hasn’t.  What areas of your life have you triumphed and succeeded, what areas fell short and disappointed you? 

So many lightworkers, healers, spiritual coaches have been through the fires of challenge and strengthening to improve their resolve for creation of a better world.  Perhaps as a coach or leader you have felt your own light diminish in your times of trial.  It is time to let go of the draining energies of this last year and rise above the challenge.  Allow your light to return brighter and greater than ever.  Learn from this last year, remember who you have always been regardless of the physical challenges that have been present.  While 2009, was not a 9 year numerlogically, it felt like a 9 combined with an 11.  9 – being a time for closure of old projects, completion of cycles and preparation for a brand new phase of life.  11 – being a spiritual time of challenge, mastery of oneself and joining with your higher spiritual purpose.  As a year of spiritual mastery and completion – it is no wonder that this last year was filled with so much focus on the release of physical securities, physical dependency on money, material wealth and bringing to light all of the excess of the ego. 

It was all in preparation for a higher level of spiritual life, a return to oneness with a true purpose or mission for life.  With so many having lost jobs it left openings for a return to what each person saw as their true passion for this life, what their dreams were and where they may be better suited to live.  It is freeing to let go of the tight bonds of the box of office life or working for another to have a stable and secure financial life.  When one is bound in a box, it is hard for growth to happen.  Just like a fish in a small bowl, it doesn’t grow any larger than the confines of the bowl.  But a similar fish in a pond or ocean could grow to ten times its size. 

When the spirit is allowed control over your life, your life grows to ten times its size, because the spirit knows that there are infinite possibilities for your life.  There are infinite supplies, infinite abundance and limitless energy to supply your passion, your higher purpose and your life when you unite yourself with the infinite creator or all things.  It is not only about the law of attraction to solely have material wealth and abundnace.  Move beyond the physical to the true abundance of what is gained by uniting with the divine and returning to a state of oneness with all in spirit.  Infinite peace, infinite love and infinite joy are waiting for you!

Tonight – take advantage of the energy of the birth of the New Year with the full blue moon.  Write out all that you want to let go of from this last year or any painful memory, regret or negativity that haunts your life in any way.  Let go of it all and release it back to God and the Universe.  Give thanks for the challenges, abundance and blessings in your life.  With gratitude fully accept the happiness, peace and harmony that are the gifts for you to receive. 

Then take time to dream, visualize the goals and intentions that you want to happen this next year.  What do you hope for, what do you long to have happen in your life?  Anything is possible, don’t limit yourself or your life with negativity or self-imposed limits.  Dream as big as the sky and write it out.  Try to really find your heart’s desire, your soul’s desire for this next year.  Write everything out and then release it to God and the Universe.  Rather than worry about each little detail of how these goals could possibly happen, allow the infinite creator to assit you in their creation.  God has infinite ways to manifest in your life and when you join forces with the infinite creator – your life will have infinite ways to have your goals manifest.  Be open to receiving divine guidance, support and wisdom on how to acheive your dreams.  When you are open to divine inspiration – miracles happen in your life.

2010 – is a year for miracles, a year for working as one with God, as the co-creator of your life if you choose to align with your spiritual nature and your highest self for the best possible life.  2010 – numerologically is a 3 year and a 10 year.  10 – being one with the infinite.  3 – being in harmony with the community, allowing your light to be shared with the world around you.  As we each work toward living our higher purpose, we can work together to build a better world filled with light, hope, love and peace.  However, if you resisted the lessons of this past year and still refuse to go with the flow of life.  This next year may be filled with further challenges that are meant to awaken you to your soul’s purpose.  Trinity (3) represents cycles of many kinds: life-death-rebirth,  Maiden-Mother-Crone, God-Christ-Holy Spirit.  Allow yourself the gift of working with the cycles of life – freely and with ease.  Use this year to transform your life.

In Memory of George Stevens

A dear friend of mine, George Stevens, passed away last week while I had been out sick. He had been a mentor and guide to me as I started my healing journey in San Francisco. George was the first to point out to me that I was a healer and helped me place several pieces of the healing puzzle together. I remember fondly the many lunches, dinners and gathering with friends to discuss spirituality, healing and our journey in life. George gave me a gift of compassion in the form of a large rose quartz crystal, that has traveled with me over the years, as I moved away from San Francisco and began quick years of moving from Minnesota, to Indiana and now down to Florida. Time taken planning a new life with Donald and wedding plans, I had lost touch with George. Though always felt him in my heart and am thankful I had a few final correspondences with him over this last year.

There are some sad memories realizing now how strong of a fight he had and wishing there had truly been time to see him while Donald and I were on honeymoon in San Francisco. I later found out he had been in the midst of chemo treatment at UCSF hospital. I am trying to let go of the regret of not doing more but also honoring the journey we had shared together. Part of me feels that while I was out sick and sleeping so much last week, perhaps I was with him in spirit as he crossed over. Helping to guide a dear friend back to the realm of light. He was such a gentle soul, always offering kindness, compassion and acceptance to everyone he met. He worked tirelessly for a hospice center and that center took care of him in his last days.

Currently, I feel very selfish for the past year, so much busy time building a life with Donald and enjoying the new adventures we had in Florida. So many happy days and not fully realizing how devastating things were for George. Part of me knows that everything happened as it should but the healer part of me wonders why I hadn’t been more involved and reached out more these last few months. Truthfully, I am not a great friend as though I often think of every friend and send out heart wishes to each, I don’t pick up the phone, email or write often. I get lost in the day to day life and charge onto the next new adventure without looking back to see what was left behind. Perhaps – that is due to the double firey Aries that I am – which George helped me to discover so many years ago. He helped me discover so much that I never knew existed and opened me to a different world. I will miss your presence on the Earth, George, but I welcome you in spirit, always in love.

I guess you will get this when you are still on your Honeymoon or when you have returned home. Thank you so much for trying to get in touch with my while you were on the West Coast. I was here, but in the hospital. Briefly, at the end of August, I had my right hip replaced, which seemed like a big deal at the time although it was a very straightforward procedure. The complication occurred when they took an X-ray of the newly installed hip and discovered quite an advanced malignant cancer in my pelvic area. So the last three months have been filled with clinics, diagnosis followed by other diagnosis, etc. Finally, I started treatment for the cancer when you were here on the West Coast. The schedule is: five days in the hospital for chemo, followed by three weeks of rest. Then, back into the hospital for another round of chemo. At this point, I am in a rest period and some days are good, other days are dominated by fatigue. That’s how it is with chemo. I definitely feel like I will survive this cancer based on the medical help I’m getting and the nutritional changes plus meditation and support for people.

However, the hospitalizations have really taken me out of my life in chunks. I am very sorry to have missed you, and please know that I wish you and Don all the happiness you can create. I am very glad that you have found each other and that you are supportive to each other as healers, friends and lovers. I send my very best to both of you. Geo

These are really wonderful pictures, thank you so much for sharing them with me. I am particularly taken by the photo of you in your wedding dress at the foot of the grand staircase on board ship. When we were working with Chase, we talked about your previous lives as an angel and your decision to come here to learn embodiment. To me, this is like the picture of your happy arrival. You’ve just walked down from heaven and you are beautifully dressed and truly radiant. You are ecstatic to be here. That’s what I see.

Also, do you remember the wonderful still life painting that you gave me? It has a wonderful orange melon and green fruits in a dish? It hangs in my kitchen and I look at it every day and think of you. We are in touch. Here’s a warm, loving hug to you and Don. May this be a magical holiday for both of you. Worship Wednesday 04.29.09

Today, I am featuring a song by John Waller called Worship While I’m Waiting. It became a favorite of mine when I saw a prescreening of Fireproof the Movie. Right now, it seems to fit in with my life on a great level with the move to Florida and starting up our new life. While I may want things to move faster and not have a lot of patience, I can step back and worship God while I am waiting and continue to serve Him until the divine timing is right. Everything happens in the exact time and moment it is meant to and there is no pushing time forward or holding time back. This song helps me to remember that and regain a center of peace, faith and patience that all will be well.

With the move to Florida, it seems like each step is given one at a time. In the past I lacked the faith to move forward without knowing the end result and each step in the journey. Right now it is being stressed to me that it is important to have faith and fulfill each step as it comes without worrying what the next step is or what the end result will be. This current journey has been amazing in the various ways that God is teaching and raising me up higher and higher, in ways I had never knew possible. Releasing the control to God to create the perfect outcome and trusting that I will hear and follow the divine guidance provided is difficult. Sometimes it feels like it would be so much easier to try to force things to happen on my timeline but then I remember that when I do that it is never has the result that I wanted to is of my highest good.

Let go of the fear of releasing control of your journey to God. You co-create your life with God, let the infinite creator remove the stumbling blocks from your journey and reveal the deeper meaning of where you are going so you can achieve a higher purpose for your life. Your life has meaning, let yourself embrace it with both hands, heart and soul. May God bless your journey and lead you to grow in love, joy and wisdom.

House Clearing while I sleep

Do you ever have one of those dreams that stayed with you even after you wake up? Lately, I have been seeing a lot more than usual in my dreams and experiencing more it seems. Typically when I dream, I don’t remember much and it just feels like I have been journeying all night. The dream I woke up to this morning was quite interesting. I woke up saying that “I don’t need to clear houses and work with spirits while I am sleeping!” thinking to myself that I rarely like to work with those who have passed on while awake, let alone while asleep. Mediumship is a gift that I don’t often talk about having or even like to think about having. I don’t mind chatting it up with angels or even other entities or releasing negative entities from houses, objects or people but for some reason the actual communicating with those who have passed on still gets to me after all these years.

I remember seeing spirits as far back as I can remember, though the first concrete memory is when I was 7 and seeing spirits in my bedroom. When sick I would often feel them coughing on me or being surrounded by other spirits who had died while in fever or illness. While in college I could sense them around the old buildings and feel their presence. Most often now, spirits come who have not been willing or able to move on from this dimension to the next. I have heard many say – oh come on, don’t you think that when you are dead you realize it and why on Earth would they need anyone else’s help? I really don’t know, but to me being in spirit form doesn’t change the fact that each is still learning, growing and evolving. Most of all, healing and releasing pain that may have been held onto long after death. So many spirits come back to speak with loved ones for closure, either for their own or for the person alive. Others come back with huge emotions, that quite frankly I never have liked feeling within my own body. For me, I have to believe that the work I do makes some difference and effects some positive change for the spirits and the universe as a whole. We all have way more power than we realize and can use it for good or bad or not at all.

This dream was set in a Spanish style mansion with a plaza and inner gardens. The rooms I remember the most were a solarium, fitness area with pool and snack type area, not really a kitchen but a place for refreshments while in that area of the home. It had felt like an alternate life with Donald or perhaps he was there with me. I was visiting the home with my boyfriend (who felt like Donald’s energy) and his mother had just passed on recently. His dad was still living in the home. The boyfriend and dad were not on good terms. His father did not approve of the boyfriend’s spiritual gifts and didn’t like the fact that we both could ‘see’ more into his soul or into situations for the truth.

While we strolled through the mansion we cleared the home of negative energy and any other spirits that were there hanging on. After we had cleared the solarium, we were trying to leave through the door and it slammed shut in front of the boyfriend and I could see his mother’s hands reach around his neck from behind to strangle him. I ran up to him and instantly put my hands on his neck and began healing him, for he had scratches that stretched around his entire neck. They were deep wounds already starting to scab over.

We ran out of the room and pretty much bumped into the father, who looked down on us and yelled at us. I can’t remember what the problem was, just that he was saying something to the effect of you aren’t worth anything and haven’t made anything of your lives, now finish this up and get out of here!

Later the scene I remember is seeing the father lying on the floor of the solarium, while we were in the refreshment area. As we approached the area that joins the two rooms together, we saw his father collapse on the floor. The mom came at the boyfriend like a whoosh of air that smelled of sulfur and he fell close to his father. The boyfriend started to crawl over to his dad, who was crying and apologizing to the son for all the years of misunderstanding. I prepared some kind of elixir for the father to drink that bubbled and frothed like one of those EmergenC fizzy packets, but that wasn’t what was prepared. I gave the drink to the father and that is when I shouted out into the dream “I will not clear houses and work with spirits while I am sleeping!” and then woke up in a start, jumping back into my body.

Cassadaga Wellness Fair Experience ~01.13.09

Don and I had a wonderful time at the Cassadaga Wellness Fair. We were so excited the night before we could hardly sleep, but we had to get to bed early as we would have to leave our home by 5:30AM to get to Cassadaga by 8AM to set up. We set up our booth and waited for the fair to begin at 10AM. At first we thought there wouldn’t be too many people attending the fair, but once it reach 11AM the camp was starting to fill up!

From 11AM until 4PM, we were busy almost non-stop with just a few breaks throughout the day to catch out breath and eat a snack. We offered 15-minute healing mini-sessions for those who would like to experience Vijarden and our healing methods. About 15 or so people took us up on the offer and gladly hopped up on the table. Many were surprised by how relaxed they felt, others were just beaming and glowing even after such a brief healing session. Many didn’t quite understand that healing isn’t just for the physical problems you are having but it also helps provide a sense of total well-being and can help with emotional and mental issues that are causing them stress.

We were located in the Colby Memorial Temple and that allowed us the opportunity to listen to each of the speakers as they spoke on various healing and spiritual development topics. The last group was an older couple who performed on some quartz singing bowls. That was a special treat, especially for the ones who were on our table receiving healing at that time. The lucky few got to receive both energetic and sound healing at the same time.

A few comments we heard from people who had received a mini-session were how we treated each person with honor and reverence, not only for their spirits but also their bodies. Another comment was how they could feel the pull of positive energy coming from out booth and they just felt attracted to come find out what we were doing.

Cassadaga hopes to host more of the fairs in the future and wants to open up their Camp to allow more activity and growth.

If you haven’t had a chance to experience healing before, we would love to share it with you. A mini-session is a great way to sample healing. We provide in-person and long-distance healing sessions, as it doesn’t matter if you are right here with us or we are sending to you as we talk on the phone. Long-distance healing is able to happen because we are all connected and there is no time, space or distance that can block healing from God.

Our current prices for healing sessions are: Mini-Session $20, Half-Session $40, Full-Session $80. Don and I also provide intuitive readings for $40. We understand that for many finances are tight right now, that is why we are going offering mini-sessions even when we are not at the fairs, as even though they are just a short amount of time, huge healing can happen if you are ready for it!

Tonight’s Spiritual Gathering for Self-Discovery was awesome! We had a lovely group of people in our home tonight for the first part of “Mapping Out Your Journey.” Everyone had some great journeys and took some good notes to help them record what they saw on their journeys and provide insight into their lives. It will be wonderful next week to take those notes and turn them into a beautiful map for inspiration throughout the year.

2009 = 11/2 year cycle ~01.04.09

2009 = 11/2 Year Cycle

I don’t know about you, but I am glad that 2008 is over and ready to move onto the twinkly new vibrations of 2009. While a lot of wonderful events happened in my life over the past year, it seems like 2009 holds new mysteries to uncover and feels more uplifting than the beginning of 2008. By numerological calculations, 2009 is an 11/2 year cycle. That is an easy calculation of 2+0+0+9=11 which is 11=1+1=2 for 11/2. 11 is called a Master Number because it is the repetition of 2 numbers. Whenever a number is repeated in such a way, it provides an extra dose of power and emphasis on the lessons for that number. For me, 11 has always been a lucky number and favorite of mine. Perhaps due to my birthday being on April 11, or the year of my birth also adds up to 11. My husband and I were married this year on 11-11, though parts of me wish we could have waited until this year so it would have been 11-11-11(2009) just because it would have been so cool!

So what do all of these wonderful numbers mean? Let’s take them step by step, going from 11 down to 1. Each number provides some guidance for lessons that are happening this year.

Master Number 11 – Spiritual Gifts, Empowerment, Inspiration and Balance Between Self and Others

Master Number means that there is a Master Challenge that can be accomplished and learned during this year. As this is an 11 year, it is about finding balance between self and others. The first half of the challenge is learning how to love and take care of yourself through empowerment and discovery of the hidden talents you possess. The second half of the challenge is expressing to others how you take care of yourself and in turn inspire them to also take care of themselves. This may be a hard challenge for many, especially if you are one who enjoys taking care of others more than taking care of yourself. This year is not about taking care of others at the expense of self, rather it is taking care of yourself so you can be of service to others. When the caretaker is under the weather or off-balance, she cannot take care of anyone else either. That is why it is vital to take care of yourself first and foremost. This is not being selfish if done in balance with love and compassion for yourself and others. When you take care of yourself, you are standing up and saying that you are just as important as anyone else and that your needs matter. As your needs do matter! When you express to others what your needs are you allow yourself to be vulnerable to others. This allows others to give love and care to you and you are given the opportunity to learn how to receive love from others. Many times those who are best at loving others are the worst at receiving love from others. Release any feelings of unworthiness about receiving love and care from others, there is no shame is expressing your needs and desires to others. Needs are part of being human.

This will be a great year for learning more about your hidden talents. These hidden talents could be undeveloped or underdeveloped spiritual gifts ranging in intuition, psychic abilities, healing, encouragement, prayer, faith, hope, ministering to others, etc. Everyone has special talents and hidden spiritual gifts that we have been given. This is a year for you to explore what your hidden gifts are and learn how to use them for your good and the good of humanity. There is no reason to be shy about them this year, what good are gifts if they are not shared and put on display? There could be a greater challenge if you do not search within and allow your spiritual nature to develop, as you are blocking your own spiritual growth and the flow of energy for the year. Whenever something is blocked out of fear, there will almost always be a lesson to help you release that fear and move forward. These challenges do not always have to be negative but they do require more perseverance than if you had gone with the flow to begin with.

2 year cycle – Being in relationship and giving love away.

Thankfully, with the reflection, inspection and love being directed at the self, the energy from the 2 year cycle helps to keep everyone balanced and not fall into traps of the ego. A 2 year holds the energy of relationship and cooperation. It is a wonderful energy that will assist the self in development and empowerment. It means that you do not have to go through the entire process alone, as others are more than willing to walk that journey with you and share in wonder and amazement as everyone is developing who they are. A 2 year, lends itself to people being more emotional and sensitive this year. Being stuck in your head will not help you this year, as your own emotions and others will only drive your logical mind crazy. People will be reacting more from the heart than the mind during this year, thankfully. Allow yourself to be open to receiving and giving love, grace and compassion to everyone. As you learn about the power, strength and wisdom within yourself, you will be able to share that with others and inspire them to delve deeper into themselves. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the work you are doing helps another to also be free to be themselves and accept love unconditionally from others? Let yourself be free this year to love yourself and others unconditionally. You may be surprised at what is in store for you when you give love not only to others but yourself.

Cards for the Year 2009 ~01.04.09

With 2009 being a 11/2 year according to numerology, I thought that it would be nice to see what the Tarot cards would be that correspond with 11 and 2 from the Major Arcana. In the MotherPeace Tarot Dec, the 11 card is Strength and the 2 card is the High Priestess. Below are interpretations for the cards as they relate to you and 2009.

Tarot Card 11 – Strength = Spiritual Power

The card features a woman who is able to tame the wild animals and call them to her with spiritual power and light. In the background is the Tree of Life with a calf and lion seated beneath it. While we may often think of Strength as being a purely physical aspect of ourselves, the Strength that will be required in 2009 is spiritual strength.
